John Stossel, Ralph Nader and Mitt Romney at Vanderbilt University

Vanderbilt University is renowned for it's Impact Symposium, an event held annually since 1964 when a group of students saw the need to gain exposure for current issues at the University.   This year's theme, "The Future Of Capitalism," draws in one very well known and renowned Capitalist in Mitt Romney, former Founder and President of Bain Capital who helped turn the course and launch  the success of such companies as Staples, Brookstone, Sealy, Dominos Pizza and The Sports Authority.  Romney is scheduled for Wednesday the 31st at 7:00p.m.

Fox News' John  Stossel and Political Activist and former Presidential Candidate Ralph Nader  are scheduled for a point - counterpoint engagement on Tuesday the 30th.

Both events will take place at Vanderbilt's Laangford Auditorium and tickets can be purchased at any TicketMaster Outlet for $10.00  All three men will be available for a book signing - Stossel and Nader on the 30th from 3:30-4:30, and Romney on the 31st from 3:30 to 4:30 - both at the Vanderbilt Bookstore.  Romney will be giving out copies of his book "No Apology: The Case for American Greatness," available free of charge to those attending his book signing and lecture.

Micro Chip America, It's The Law

Congratulations America! We just lost our Freedom, our Liberty - the very foundation for our society. TITLE II--ROLE OF PUBLIC PROGRAMS SUBTITLE C--MEDICAID AND CHIP ENROLLMENT SIMPLIFICATION
All Senate and House Members knew IT was in the legislation - they even had IT in just Title II, up front so everyone that wanted to read it could - but we failed. The Healthcare Legislation will be tracked by mandated micro-chipping. Every American will have the microchip in order to receive medical care. They have even set up a global Demonstration to implement it into the NWO society.

This is where they set up Global Chipping. SUBTITLE J--IMPROVEMENTS TO THE MEDICAID AND CHIP PAYMENT AND ACCESS COMMISSION (MACPAC) Read the Bill at www.opencongress.org

There is also a current Harris Poll that says 1/4 of Republicans believe
Obama is the AntiChrist. Well, here is the  proof. We've been promised Healthcare for all - now Medicaid will become available for every citizen, including single and no children, and if you make less than $288,000 will be the catalyst for the government to pay you a subsidy to cover the insurance you cannot afford. Coincidentally, the Congress and President made themselves exempt from this bill, and passed a bill only for the 2nd time ever, and both in this Presidency, on a Sunday.

Donn Janes returns from D.C., calls for continued action against the HCR Bill.

This weekend Donn Janes, along with many other Tea Party members from across the State, traveled to Washington D.C. to voice their opposition to the HCR legislation. He and others worked to lobby those in Congress against its passage. In a last minute deal with Rep. Stupak and other so called Pro-Life Democrats, the Congressional leadership was able to secure the votes needed for its passage.

“The American people stood up to Congress and demanded that the un-Constitutional Health Care Proposal be voted down.” Stated Janes, “This past weekend, I joined tens of thousands of concerned citizens nationwide who dropped what they were doing and traveled to Washington D.C. We urgently assembled at the nation’s Capitol Building in an effort to directly lobby Congress.

These citizens made their voices heard as they chanted outside the Representative’s chambers ‘KILL THE BILL!’ Regretfully, as the vote finally came down Sunday night, it was made clear that we citizens were ignored by a condescending group of Democratic Representatives who thought they new what was better for us than we did ourselves.”

Now that I have returned to the 8th District, I find that Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen has flip flopped on his earlier statement rejecting this health care legislation as bad policy. “

Donn Janes now joins the call for Governor Bredesen and Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey to demand that the State’s Attorney General join the efforts of the many States filing lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of this legislation.

“There are many provisions in this bill that are unconstitutional, but it is the mandatory coverage clause that will be the main point of contention,” Mr. Janes stated. “Legislationrequiring the citizens of the United States to purchase health insurance is a gross violation of the enumerated powers stated in the Constitution and is in violation of the 10th Amendment; all powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

“We the People” understand that this is more than a campaign issue. We cannot wait until November to set this matter straight. It is imperative that we act immediately in the best interest of future generations of Americans.

Donn”
